| Martino A. Valela is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wilden Pump & Engineering, LLC, the world's largest manufacturer of air operated, double-diaphragm pumps. Wilden is a subsidiary of Dover Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. Prior to joining Wilden, Valela held the position of Vice President and General Manager of a publicly traded Canadian company that specialized in the manufacturing and distribution of highly engineered products in the industrial and hydraulic fields. Throughout his 17 years of tenure, Valela grew the company by successfully negotiating and integrating acquisitions. Valela joined Wilden Pump in 1997 as the Regional Director of Europe and Africa. Fluent in French, Italian, and proficient in Spanish, Valela excels in relationship building with strong sales growth, as Director of International Sales, he led his team to successful double-digit growth. Additionally, Valela was a key member of the Almatec acquisition team. He also drove the project to establish Wilden's first wholly-owned enterprise in China (Wei Li) and helped grow Wilden Argentina. Valela holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Concordia University in Montreal ('79), QC, Canada. He also completed a Queen's University Executive Program at Kingston, ON, Canada. |
